Dr. Amelia Shevenell

Amelia Shevenell is an Assistant Professor of Geological Oceanography at the University of South Florida, College of Marine Science in St. Petersburg, Florida.

NBP14-02: Dr. Shevenell is a principal investigator aboard the US Antarctic Program research vessel Nathaniel B. Palmer for this cruise to the Totten Glacier and other locations along the East Antarctic ice sheet. Three graduate students from USF will also contribute posts to the blog.

LMG13-11: Dr. Shevenell was chief scientist aboard the US Antarctic Program research vessel Laurence M. Gould for this cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula. Two of her graduate students also contributed posts to the blog.

LMG12-11: During October 2012, Dr. Shevenell sailed on the Gould for another research cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula, in collaboration with researchers from Hamilton College and Tulane University.
